Singapore Stunned 5-3 Over Malaysia

Last Saturday, July 23, 2011 Malaysia national team defeated by neighbor Singapore with 5-3 at Singapore National Stadium. Alexander Duric became the player of the match by helping Singapore scoring 2 important goals during the 2nd stage of the event.

At early 1st min, Safee from Malaysia shocked the home side by scoring goal against the opponent. While the captain, Alexander make it 1-1 after 6min of 1st goal. Lee, Fahrudin and ex China player Shun Jia Yi scored at 22min, 44min and 45min respectively before the 1st half match end.

After the break, Malaysia quickly recovered from the 1st half low performance with the pace and more attacking on Singapore. Without further delay, Hadi Yahya and Safee scored at 70min and 71min to reduce the gap on score sheet.

However, Alexander scored again at 81min to allow the home side with 2 goals advantage before travel to Malaysia for the 2nd leg game.
